International Travel Security

Georgetown expects faculty, staff and students to take reasonable precautions when traveling internationally to protect themselves and their research. Georgetown has many resources for faculty and staff who are traveling abroad, and the Director for International Safety and Security within the Office of Public Safety is available to help you prepare for international travel. The International Safety and Security Office website offers broad resources and current information about: your destination’s risk environment; tips and best practices for planning safe travel; information about the university’s international health and medical insurance; and the university’s international travel policy.
